Amanda Webster

Amanda Webster, a former doctor, works as a freelance writer in Sydney. Her first memoir The Boy Who Loved Apples was published in 2012 by Text Publishing, and later released in Germany and the Netherlands. A Tear in the Soul was released by NewSouth Publishing in 2016. Webster’s essays have appeared in several journals including Black Warrior Review, Hunger Mountain (online), Alimentum and Vogue Australia. She holds an MFA in Creative Writing from City University of Hong Kong.
